Why should I stop listening to music?

The hadith of the prophet says; Those that will give up music in this world Allah will call them to one side on the
day of judgement and Allah will say;

“where are those who loved music but for my sake subdued and controlled
themselves, where are those that loved beautiful music but for my pleasure did not listen?”

And Allah will command, “Seperate them”. They will then be seperated and Allah will reward them.

Don’t you want to be in this group of people?

Secrets of Surah Al-Kahf

Ever wondered why Prophet Muhammad (salallahu alaihe wassalam) asked us to recite Surat Al-Kahf every Friday?

Let’s find out today in sha Allah…

‘Whoever reads Surah al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of
the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection,
and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.’
-Hadith(al-Targ heeb wa’l-Tarheeb,1/ 298)

Four lessons from Surah Al-Kahf.

1)Trial of Faith (people of the cave,Ashabul Kahfi)
2)Trial of Wealth (stories of 2 men and the 2 gardens)
3)Trial of Knowledge(Prophet Musa & al-khidr)
4)Trial of Power (Zulqarnai n with Ya’jujMa’juj)

In the middle of these 4 stories in surah al-kahf, IBLIS is the one who stirs these trials —–(Q18:50)

*So how do we survive these trials?

(solutions can be found in surah al-kahf too)

1)Sincerity(Q18:110)

2)Calling to Allah(Q18:27)

3)Remembering the Hereafter (Q18:47 -49)

4)Good companionship(Q18:28)

5)Knowing the truth abt this world(Q18:45)

6)Humbleness(Q18:69)

Hadith On Recording Of Our Good/Bad Deeds.

`Abdullah bin `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them)
reported the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said that Allah, the
Glorious, said:

“Verily, Allah (SWT) has ordered that the good and the bad deeds be written down. Then He explained it clearly how (to write): He who intends to do a good deed but he does not do it, then Allah records it for him as a full good deed, but if he carries out his intention, then Allah the Exalted, writes it down for him as from ten to seven hundred folds, and even more. But if he intends to do an evil act and has not done it, then Allah writes it down with Him as a full good deed, but if
he intends it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed”.”
—[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Important Prayer for forgiveness of sins

Narrated Abu Huraira (radi Allaahu anhu): Allah’s
Messenger (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever says,
‘Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,’ one hundred times a day, will
be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the
foam of the sea. [Bukhari Vol 8 Book 75, Hadith 414].

May Allah accept our prayers. AMIN.

HADITH: Mercy Of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) .

What we should learn from this.

Narrated ‘Aisha (RadiAllahu ‘anha), asked the
Prophet (pbuh):

‘Have you encountered a day harder than the
day of the battle of Uhud?”

The Prophet (pbuh) replied, “Your tribes have troubled me a
lot, and the worse trouble was the trouble on the day of
‘Aqaba when I presented myself to Ibn ‘Abd-Yalail bin
‘Abd-Kulal and he did not respond to my demand. So I
departed, overwhelmed with excessive sorrow, and
proceeded on, and could not relax till I found myself at
Qarnath-Tha-alib where I lifted my head towards the sky
to see a cloud shading me unexpectedly. I looked up and
saw Gabriel in it. He called me saying,

‘Allah has heard your people’s saying to you, and what they have replied back to you, Allah has sent the Angel of the Mountains to you so that you may order him to do whatever you wish to these people.’

The Angel of the Mountains called and greeted me, and
then said, “O Muhammad ! Order what you wish. If you
like, I will let Al-Akh-Shabain (i.e. two mountains) fall on
them.”

The Prophet (pbuh) said, “No but I hope that Allah will let
them beget children who will worship Allah Alone, and
will worship None besides Him.”
[Sahih Bukhari – Book 54, Hadith 454].

Subhannallah.

Ya Allah give us the heart to forgive others who have wronged us.

Ya Allah give us the strenght to be patient like our beloved Prophet Muhammed (pbuh).

Beautiful Hadith To Adhere To.

Narrated Abu Huraira:
I said: “O Allah’s Apostle! Who will be the luckiest person, who will gain your intercession on the Day of Resurrection?”

Allah’s Apostle said: “O Abu Huraira! I have thought that
none will ask me about it before you, as I know your longing for the (learning of) Hadiths. The luckiest person who will have my intercession on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who said sincerely from the bottom of
his heart ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah‘.”

And ‘Umar bin ‘Abdul ‘Aziz wrote to Abu Bakr bin Hazm,
“Look for the knowledge of Hadith and get it written, as I am afraid that religious knowledge will vanish and the religious learned men will pass away (die). Do not acceptp anything save the Hadiths of the Prophet. Circulate
knowledge and teach the ignorant, for knowledge does not vanish except when it is kept secretly (to oneself).”

THREE QUALITIES TO TASTE THE SWEETNESS OF IMAN.

Three qualities to taste the sweetness of Iman in Islam.

Narrated Anas bin Malik (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu),
The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever possesses the following three qualities will taste the sweetness of faith:

1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle become
dearer than anything else.

2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah’s
sake.

3. Who hates to revert to disbelief (Atheism) after Allah
has brought (saved) him out from it, as he hates to be
thrown in fire.”
[Sahih Bukhari – Book 2, Hadith 20]

Today’s Hadith.

Uthman ibn Abi’l-‘Aas came to theProphet (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him) and said:
“O Messenger of Allah, the Shaytan is coming between
me and my prayer and making me confused in my
recitation.”
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him) said:
“That is a devil called Khanzab. If you feel his
presence, then seek refuge with Allah from him and
spit drily to your left three times.”
[‘Uthman] said:
“I did that and Allah took him away from me.”

THE BEST SUPPLICATION FOR SEEKING FORGIVENESS

THE BEST SUPPLICATION FOR SEEKING FORGIVENESS

Shaddad bin Aus ?
(rta) said:The Prophet(saw) said,”The best supplication for

in it and dies on the same day(before the evening),he will

in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and
dies before the morning ,he will be one of the dwellers of
Jannah.”

THE STORY OF THE CHILD WHO ACCEPTED ISLAM AT THE AGE OF 8.

The American Muslim child who studied Islam at the
age of 6 announced his acceptance at the age of 8.
Alexander Fretz was born Christian parents in 1990
and his mother chose from the very beginning to
allow him to choose what religion he wants for
himself. She bought him various religious books and
after a close look, he announced that he was a
Muslim at the age of 8.( *Moreover, he learned
everything about Islam such as prayer, Qur’an
memorization, calling the athan, and many of the
Shariah laws before meeting one Muslim!
He chose to be named Mohammed Abdullah following
the example of the Prophet whom he loved.
He was invited by one of the Islamic channels
accompanied by his mother and while the host was
preparing to ask the young child questions, he was
surprised that the child was doing the questioning…he
asked, “How can I perform hajj and umrah? Is the
travel expensive? Where did you buy the clothes of
Ihram?”
The young child was popular in his school and when
the time of prayer comes, he stands alone calling
the adhan and prays.
The host asked him, “Do you face problems or
disturbances with that?”, So he replied with a broken
heart, “Some prayers pass me sometimes because I
don’ t know the exact time for prayer!”
He was asked, “What attracted you to Islam?” He
replied, “The more I read about it, the more I loved
it.”
He was asked, “What are your aspirations?” He
replied with longing, “First that I become a
photographer so that I can convey the right image
of the Muslims because it pains me much to see
the filthy American films which tries to tarnish the
image of my beloved Mohammad (sallallahu alayhi
wasallam). The second is to go to Makkah and kiss
the black stone.”
He was asked, “What are some of your other
aspirations?” He replied, “I hope that Palestine
would return to Muslims as this is their land and it
was stripped by the Isreal from them!”
He was asked, “Do you eat pork with your parents?” He
replied, “Pigs is a very filthy animal, I don’t eat it
neither do I know how people can eat it.” He was
asked, “Do you pray in school?” He replied, “Yes,
and I have found a secret place in the library
where I can pray everyday.”
Then Maghrib prayer entered (while he was in the
interview) when he looked at the host and said,
“Would you allow me to raise the athan?”
Then he got up and called the Adhan which caused the
host to tear up and cry.
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said,
“There is none born but is created to his true
nature (Islam). It is his parents who make him a
Jew or a Christian.” — Sahih Muslim

FIFTEEN TYPES OF PURNISHMENT FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEGLIGENT OF THEIR PRAYER.

We all know that not offering our prayers(salat) is HARAM! But little do we know the punishments that we will face…
Why  do we erase messages that talk about religious (Islam) matters!
But We resend ordinary messages?

The Prophet peace be upon him  narrated “Convey from me, even if its  one verse (Ayah)”

2-He dies hungry.
3- He dies thirsty . Even if he drinks the water of all seas, he will still be thirsty.

2- Allah pours on him fire with embers( red color, hot coal made of immensely heated firewood).
3- Allah sets on him a snake called “the brave” “the bold” which rolls all around his body & crushes him.

*three punishments on the day of Judgment
1- he will be dragged face down over hot burning coal to the hellfire.
2-Allah gives him an angry look that makes the flesh of his face fall down.
3-Allah judges him strictly and orders him to be thrown in hell.

Subhannalah!! May Allah give us the strenght to pray at the prescribed time, and may we not experience any of these purnishments.

AMEEN! AMEEN! AMEEN!

HERACLIUS QUESTIONS ABU SUFYAN ABOUT PROPHET MUHAMMED.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: Abu Sufyan ibn Harb informed me that Heraclius had sent a messenger to him while he had been accompanying a caravan from Quraish. They were merchants doing business in sham (Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan) at the time when Allah’s messenger had a truce with Abu Sufyan and Quraish infidels. So Abu Sufyan and his companions went to Heraclius at Ilya (Jerusalem).
Heraclius called them in a court and he had all the senior Roman dignitaries around him. He called for his translator who, translating Heraclius’s question, said to them:

“Who among you is closely related to that man who claims to be a prophet?”

Abu Sufyan replied: “I am the nearest relative to him(amongst the group).”

Heraclius said: “Bring him (Abu Sufyan) close to me and make his companions stand behind him.”

Abu Sufyan added in the narration:“Heraclius told his translator to tell my companions that he wanted to put some questions to me regarding that man (Prophet Muhammed) and that if i told a lie they (my companions) should contradict me. By Allah! Had i not been afraid of my companions labeling me a liar, i would not have spoken the truth about the prophet.”

Abu Sufyan’s narration continues:

“The first question he(Heraclius) asked me about him(Prophet Muhammed PBUH) was:

“What is his family status among you?”

I replied: “He belongs to a good(noble) family amongst us.”
Heraclius further asked: “Has anybody among you ever claimed the same (i.e to be a prophet) before him?”

I replied: “No.”
He said: “Was anybody amongst his ancestors a king?”
I replied: “No.”

Heraclius asked: “Do the nobles or the poor follow him?”
I replied: “It is the poor who follow him.”

He said: “Are his followers increasing or decreasing(day by day)?”

I replied: “They are increasing.”

He then asked: “Does anybody amongst those who embrace his religion become displeased and renounce the religion afterwards?”

I replied: “No.”

Heraclius said: “Have you ever accused him of telling lies before his claim( to be a prophet)?”

I replied: “No.”

Heraclius said: “Does he break his promise?”

I replied: ” No. We are at truce with him but we do not know what he will do in it.” I could not find an opportunity to say anything against him except that.

Heraclius asked: “Have you ever had a war with him?”

I replied: “Yes.”

Then he said: ” What was the outcome of the battle?”

I replied: “Sometimes he was victorious and sometimes we.”

Heraclius said: ” What does he order you to do?”

I said: ” He tells us to worship Allah and Allah alone and not to worship anything along with Him, and to renounce all that our ancestors had said. He orders us to pray, to speak the truth, to be chaste and to keep good relations with our kith and kin.”

Heraclius asked the translator to convey to me the following:

” I asked you about his family and your reply was that he belonged to a very noble family. Infact, all Messengers come from noble families among their respective people. I questioned you whether anybody else among you claimed such a thing; your relpy was in the negative. If the answer had been in the affirmative, i would have thought that this man was following the previous man’s statement. Then i asked you whether anyone of his ancestors was a king, your reply was in the negative, and if it had been in the affirmative, i would have thought that this man wanted to take back his ancestral kingdom. I further asked whether he was ever accused of telling lies before he proclaimed that he was a prophet, and your reply was in the negative. So I wondered how a person who does not tell lie about others could ever tell a lie about God! I then asked you whether the rich people followed him or the poor, you replied that it was the poor who followed him. And infact all the messengers have been followed by this very class of people. Then I asked you whether his followers were increasing or decreasing. You replied that they were increasing, and infact this is the way of true faith, till it is complete in all respects. I further asked you whether there was anybody after embracing his religion became displeased and discarded his religion, your reply was in the negative, and infact this is (the sign of) true faith, when its delight enters the heart and mixes with them completely. I asked you whether he had ever betrayed anyone, you replied in the negative and likewise the messengers never betray. Then I asked you what he ordered you to do, you replied that he ordered you to worship Allah and Allah alone and not to worship idols and ordered you to pray, to speak the truth and to be chaste.
If what you have said is true, he will very soon occupy this place underneath my feet and I knew it(from the scriptures) that he was going to appear but I did not know that he would be from you, and if I could reach him definitely i would go immediately to meet him and if i were with him, i would certainly wash his feet”

Heraclius then asked for the letter addressed by Allah’s messenger which had been delivered by Dihya to the Governor of Busra, who forwarded it to Heracluis to read. The contents of the letter were as follows:

“In the name of Allah the Beneficient, the merciful. (This letter is) from Muhammed the slave and messenger of Allah to Heracluis the ruler of Byzantine. Peace be upon him who follows the right path. Furthermore i invite you to islam, and if you become a muslim you will be safe, and Allah will double your reward, and if you reject this invitation of islam, you will be committing a sin by misguiding your subjects(peolpe).
And I recite to you Allah’s statement: *Say (O Muhammed): ‘O people of the scripture ( Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah.’ Then, if they turn away, say: ‘Bear witness that we are muslims.’

Abu Sufyan then added: ” When Heraclius had finished his speech and had read the letter, there was a great hue and cry in the Royal Court. So we turned out of the court. I told my companions that the question of ibn Abi Kabsha(prophet Muhammed) had become so prominent that even the king of Bani Al-Asfar (Byzantine) was afraid of him. Then i started. To become sure that he ( Prophet Muhammed) would be the conqueror in the near future till i embraced islam(i.e. Allah guided me to it).
